Katharine Gillhampton, daughter of Oliver Gilhampton and Elizabeth (…), was born probably shortly before her baptism at St. Michael's Parish, Barbados, 19 January 1664/65.1 She died probably at St. Michael's Parish, Barbados, before 1715, when she was not listed with her husband in the 1715 census of that parish.2

Katharine married (1) Thomas Duboys at St. Michael's Parish, Barbados, 20 September 1685;3,4 she married (2) Joseph Hole at St. Michael's Parish, Barbados, 14 January 1702/3. The ancestry of both men is unknown (or not traced here).5

Her marriage record calls her Mrs. Katha: Gilhampton. This was also used for her sister Mary in 1690, and is most likely short for mistress, not indicating a previous marriage. Her likely baptism (no indicated parents), 19 Jan 1664, makes her about the right age to marry Thomas Dubois.4,1
