Edward II, King of England, son of Edward I "Longshanks," King of England and Eleanor of Castile, was born at Caernarvon, Caernarvonshire, Wales, 25 April 1284.1,2 He was murdered at Berkeley Castle, Gloucester, England, 21 September 1327,3,2 and was buried at the Abbey of St. Peter, Gloucester, England.2,3
