Kenelm Winslow, son of Kenelm Winslow and Elizabeth Clapp, was born at Hardwick, Worcester Co., Massachusetts, 11 December 1746.1 He died at Cortland Co., New York, say 1810.2

Kenelm married Damaris Wilder, daughter of John Wilder and Prudence Wilder, at Petersham, Worcester Co., Massachusetts, 3 March 1773.3

In 1790, his household was probably the one enumerated at Petersham, with 2 free white males over 16, 1 under 16, and 6 free white females.4

The Winslow Memorial states, without citing a source, that he went to Cortland Co. New York. I have not yet found any contemporary evidence to support that statement. However, there are no death or probate records for Kenelm or wife Damaris in Halifax, Windham Co., Vermont. Three of their children (Richard, Polly, and Patty) did go to Cortland Co., and Kenelm and Damaris may have gone with them. 1810 census records for Cortland Co. are lost.5,2
