Sir Edmund of England, Knt., Earl of Lancaster
Sir Edmund of England, Knt., Earl of Lancaster, son of Henry III, King of England and Eleanor of Provence, was born at London, England, 16 January 1244/45.1 He died at Bayonne, England, 5 June 1296.1 Both he and his first wife, Aveline, were buried at Westminster Abbey, England.1
Edmund married (1) Aveline de Forz, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), at Westminster Abbey, London, England, 7 April 1269;1 he married (2), as her 2nd husband, Blanche of Artois, daughter of Sir Robert of France "le Vaillant," Knt., Count of Artois and Mahaut of Brabant, at Paris, France, before 18 January 1275/76.1
