Elizabeth of England, daughter of Edward I "Longshanks," King of England and Eleanor of Castile, was born at Rhuddlan Castle, Caernarvonshire, Wales, 7 August 1282.1 She died at Quendon, Essex, England, 5 May 1316,1 and was buried at Walden Abbey, Essex, England, 23 May 1316.1,2

Elizabeth married (1) Johann I, Count of Holland and Zeeland, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here); at Ipswich, Suffolk, England, 8 January 1297;1,2 she married (2) Sir Humphrey de Bohun, Knt., 8th Earl of Hereford, 9th Earl of Essex, son of Sir Humphrey de Bohun, Knt., 7th Earl of Hereford, 8th Earl of Essex and Maud de Fiennes, at Westminster Palace, Westminster, London, England, 14 November 1302.1
