Sir Humphrey de Bohun, Knt., 8th Earl of Hereford, 9th Earl of Essex, son of Sir Humphrey de Bohun, Knt., 7th Earl of Hereford, 8th Earl of Essex and Maud de Fiennes, was born about 1276.1,2 He was killed at the Battle of Boroughbridge, Yorkshire, England, 16 March 1321,1 and was buried at Dominican Friars, York, Yorkshire, England.1

Humphrey married, as her 2nd husband, Elizabeth of England, daughter of Edward I "Longshanks," King of England and Eleanor of Castile, at Westminster Palace, Westminster, London, England, 14 November 1302.1
