Sir William de Bohun, K.G., Earl of Northampton, son of Sir Humphrey de Bohun, Knt., 8th Earl of Hereford, 9th Earl of Essex and Elizabeth of England, was born about 1312.1 He died 16 September 1360,2 and was buried at Walden Abbey, Essex, England.2

William married, as her 2nd husband, Elizabeth de Badlesmere, daughter of Sir Bartholomew de Badlesmere, Knt., 1st Lord Badlesmere and Margaret de Clare, about 13 November 1335.3
