Sir Ralph de Monthermer, Knt., 1st Lord Monthermer, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), died 10 May 1325,1 and was buried at Grey Friars, Salisbury, Wiltshire, England.1

Ralph married (1), as her 2nd husband, Joan of England, daughter of Edward I "Longshanks," King of England and Eleanor of Castile, in 1297;2 he married (2), as her 3rd husband, Isabel de Despenser, daughter of Sir Hugh le Despenser, Knt., Earl of Winchester, 1st Lord Despenser and Isabel de Beauchamp, before 20 November 1318.3
