Sarah married Ephraim Squire Force, son of William Force and Aletta Carter, at Brooklyn 7 November 1844.10,11

Her obituary: "Mrs. Force formerly lived in the Hill section of Brooklyn and was for many years an active worker in the Lafayette Avenue Presbyterian Church during the pastorate of the Rev. Dr. Theodore L. Cuyler and she was a member of the Ladies Aid Society."12
